THIS RECORD IS FROM OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION. Well maintained.
*Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great.
Record Grade VG+ = ONE OWNER. Purchased new in New York City in 1980. Looks and sounds great. Very well maintained. Just listened to both sides of the whole album with headphones on and it plays very beautiful. The vinyl looks beautiful. Little to no surface noise at all. No skips or jumps. Difficult to find this rare vintage stereo recording in such nice condition. (see pictures)
Jacket Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. We kept it on our shelf in plastic cover all these years. Minor ring wear on front cover. The jacket is very sturdy. No writing, no tape. Firm spine. A strong clean jacket for a 37 year old album. (see pictures)

John Haley "Zoot" Sims (October 29, 1925 - March 23, 1985) was an American jazz saxophonist, playing mainly tenor but also alto (and, later, soprano) saxophone. He first gained attention in the "Four Brothers" sax section of Woody Hermans big band, afterward enjoying a long solo career, often in partnership with fellow saxmen Gerry Mulligan and Al Cohn, and the trombonist Bob Brookmeyer.
Harry "Sweets" Edison (October 10, 1915 – July 27, 1999) was an American jazz trumpeter and a member of the Count Basie Orchestra.
Pablo Records initially featured recordings by acts that Granz managed such as Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson and Joe Pass. Later, recordings by Count Basie, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie and Sarah Vaughan were added. Milt Jackson and Paulinho da Costa recorded for Pablo from the mid 70s to the mid 80s.
