Hardbound in near fine condition, 333 pages includesan AUTHORS’ NOTE, a Listing of Members of THE PITCAIRN COMMUNITY and aGuide to the Pronounciations, measures approximately 5 ¾” x 8½”.
The boards are coral color with titles and graphic renderings blindstamped in silver. They are clean and bright with little or no significant wear to the edges, perhaps just the slightest bit of fading to the spine.The book has been fitted with a clear Mylar dust jacket to help maintain it in the future.
The interior reveals wonderful mapped end pages displaying detailedtopographical maps of Pitcairn’s Island in the front and the SouthPacific at the rear. The contents are clean and firmly bound, no loose or misaligned pages,no noticeable age toning. There is a custom printed woodblock-type Ex Libris pasted to the 2nd fly page andthe authors dedication to this previous owner on the page opposite the copyright page. There are no other previous owner indications andno marks, creases or tears.
